NBAA BACE 2024 – Las Vegas – The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), has purchased carbon credits to offset the team’s travel to NBAA BACE 2024 and for future business travel in the coming months with Carbon Trade eXchange (CTX) new A.C.E. program for business aviation, introduced last month. The A.C.E. program offers a new transparent and user-friendly platform for business aviation companies to voluntarily purchase carbon credits to offset their CO2 emissions as part of an overall sustainability plan.
NBAA-BACE 2024 – Las Vegas -- The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) welcomes Rolland Vincent Associates (RVA) to its Industry Partner Programme at the National Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas. RVA joins 17 other leading business aviation companies from seven countries and four continents as members of the programme. The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) recently held its 10th annual International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH™) Standards Board meeting prior to the opening of EBACE 2024. In addition to the meeting to review and consider changes to the IS-BAH standard, IBAC welcomed three new members to the IS-BAH Standards Board for 2024-2025, including Troy Hyberger from Duncan Aviation, Rick Hooper from VistaJet, and Jose Rubinho from United Aviation Services. The organization also expresses its gratitude to the returning board members for their ongoing service.

To commemorate the founding anniversary, IS-BAH will introduce a campaign focusing on its objective: ‘Elevating Ground Handling Safety.’

EBACE 2024 – Geneva - The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) announced the release of its new guide, Aiming For ETS & CORSIA Compliance, this week at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) 2024. The IBAC Guide provides insight into complying with the EU Emissions Trading Scheme, its Swiss and UK counterparts and the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), introduced by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Additionally, IBAC has scheduled a free webinar on June 26th to review highlights from this guide and share insight with business aircraft operators on determining to what extent an organization’s operations may be subject to any of these schemes.

The International Business Aviation Council’s (IBAC) safety standard programme, the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operation (IS-BAO), held its annual standards board meeting last month in Las Vegas. In addition to electing two new board members, the IS-BAO Board concluded there will be no changes to the safety standard in 2024, and all adjudicated changes will be consolidated for release in the next IS-BAO edition in 2025.
The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) ground-handling safety standard, the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH), has now reached 300 registered locations since it was first introduced in 2014. This month, Jetex Marrakech became the 300th ground handling organization to achieve IS-BAH Stage 1 registration.
