New IS-BAO Board members are Shannon Hotchkin, Fleet Maintenance Director at EJM, and Franz Hornung, IS-BAO Auditor and Captain at BMW Group. This year’s reelected IS-BAO board members include Dan Boedigheimer, Jad Donaldson, and Mike Ott from NBAA, Randy Horsley from CBAA, and Stan Medved, IS-BAO Standards Board Chairman, EBAA. Other IS-BAO board members include Jens Hennig, GAMA, James Viola, HAI, Doug Carr, NBAA, Joanne Wong, AsBAA, Keith Washington, NBAA, Pat Dunn, NBAA, Kent Wong, AsBAA, Chris Tran, ABAA, and Tariq Alsaeed from MEBAA.
Andrew Karas, IS-BAO Programme Director, said, “We appreciate all these industry professionals that voluntarily make up the IS-BAO board that work toward continuous improvement for business aviation safety. IS-BAO is an industry standard for business aviation and by business aviation, and this group certainly represents its international scope and professionalism.”
Karas added, “A special thank you to Juergen Wiese, who has served on the IS-BAO board for the past 15 years. He chose to pass the opportunity on to another EBAA representative, Franz Hornung, this year. We also welcome Shannon Hotchkin to the board and look forward to working with her and Franz in the coming years.”
